Demi Lovato biography

Demi Lovato

Demitria (Demi) Devonn Lovato was born on August 20, 1992 in the United States of America, Shatat Texas, Dallas. Demi’s parents divorced when she was barely two years old. The girl’s father immediately after the divorce left for New Mexico, so we can say that in the “conscious” life, Demi spoke to him for the first time quite recently – in February 2008.

At the age of six, Lovato first appeared on television – she played one of the roles in the children’s TV series Barney & Friends. In 2006, Demi starred in several episodes of “Prison Break, Escape” and a short role in the movie “Just Jordan.” But real fame came to the young actress after the series “Camp Rock” was released in America. The role of Michie Torres – a fourteen-year-old girl who dreams of becoming a singer – made Demi a star in just a few episodes of the series.

The burden of fame turned out to be not so light – the girl had to leave school due to constant conflicts with classmates, hire several personal security guards, forget about her personal life and constantly think about whether the reporters, who are greedy for sensations, would take the answers to their own tricky questions.

The other side of Demi Lovato’s talent is music. Even at the age of 11, Demi sang perfectly, played the guitar and piano. In 2008, Lovato accompanied Avril and the Jonas Brothers on their big US tour as opening act. Believing in herself, Demi decided to record her debut album, “Don’t Forget”. The girl was helped by such famous personalities as Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Kara Diogurandi. So it is not surprising that almost 100,000 copies of the new album were sold in the first week of sales alone, and he himself eventually took the second place in terms of sales on the Billboard 200.

After the triumphant success of “Don’t Forget” Demi was firmly entrenched in the role of a talented and promising young singer. Although Demi herself in an interview with MTV channel once admitted that she does not really like pop music – she is more into the style of “heavy metal”. After a successful photo shoot for Teen Vogue, Demi Lovato was asked if she wanted to become a professional model as well. “No,” Demi laughed. “My real passion is music, and everything else is just a hobby.”
