Alan Olav Walker ( born Alan Olav Walker ; born August 24, 1997 , Northampton , UK ) is an Anglo-Norwegian music producer and DJ. He became known in 2015 after the release of the single “ Faded ”, which received platinum status in several countries and collected more than 2.7 billion views on YouTube. In 2018, he released his debut studio album, Different World. As of 2019, it takes 27th place in the list of the best DJs in the world according to DJ Magazine.

Biography
Born August 24, 1997 in Northampton , UK. When he was 2 years old, he moved to Bergen ( Norway ) with his sister Camilla, brother Andreas, Norwegian mother Hildi Omdal Walker and English father Philip Alan Walker. Growing up in the digital era, Alan early became interested in computers, which later entailed a passion for programming and graphic design.
At age 14, Alan began to create music on his computer using the program FL Studio, originally under the pseudonym DJ Walkzz. One of his first works was the track “Celebrate”, created on October 7, 2012. In 2014, his track “Fade” attracted attention after its release on August 17 and was re-released on November 19 by the British record label NoCopyrightSounds. In 2015, this label also released its tracks “Specter” and “Force”.
In 2013, Walker created his own logo, consisting of the intertwined letters “A” and “W” based on the initials of his name. 2017—2018: new songs and the first studio album
