Sony Ericsson introduced Smartphones Xperia Pro and Neo

The day before the exhibition opening of MWC 2011, Sony Ericsson has introduced two more mobile devices of the family Xperia Pro and Neo.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo is built on a single-chip system with Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 CPU running at 1 GHz, and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The smartphone is equipped with a capacitive touch screen, 3.7-inch diagonal, 854 x 480 resolution with a surface which is resistant to scratches, and the GPU Sony Bravia, designed to improve the quality of music played on the screen image.

The smartphone is endowed with 320 MB internal memory, a 8 megapixels rear camera, which allows to record high-definition video, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI and Micro USB port, slot for microSD memory cards up to 32 GB (8 GB included to the product). Front camera 2 megapixel. Dimensions of Xperia Neo is 116 x 57 x 13 mm, weight - 126 grams.

Xperia Pro in relative to the Neo - about the same as the Xperia X10 mini pro in relation to the X10 mini. This smartphone has the same specification as the Neo, but differs in the type built-in sliding keyboard QWERTY. Despite the additional power of mechanical keys, XPERIA Pro is not much more Neo: size - 120 x 57 x 13.5 mm, weight - 140 grams. In order to maximally realize the potential of the keyboard, Sony Ericsson smartphone completes pre-installed office applications with the ability to edit documents.

Xperia Neo goes on sale late in the first quarter of this year, Pro - for a quarter later. The cost of these new smartphones has not yet been revealed, but it is known that the Xperia Neo will be available in case of blue, red or silver, and for the Xperia Pro instead of the blue will be offered a black version.
