NEED FOR SPEED SHIFT

Another version of EA's Need for Speed series released, named Need For Speed Shift. By the by these days EA's NFS faced many ups and downs for many reasons. Sometime they lose there top position for some bad release and experiment and regains it by a awesome release.

Anyway after the release of ProStreet many gamer do not like it for track racing as NFS known to be a street racing game. In addition they failed to make it accurate like the real world track racing.

Then another developer group developed NFS Undercover and it also got mixed reaction from the gamers. The game was not that bad but missing new surprise.



Well recently they released this version of the series and this is also a track racing game but EA played a bit different game here. They hired the developer group Slightly Mad Studios, the folks behind the PC racing series GTR, and ask them to develop an accurate track racing simulation game this time. So they did it and it is clearly a great piece of track racing simulation game not that accurate still but it is a good effort.



The graphics, sound, racing tracks all are great. But in gameplay the keyboard gamers will face difficulties to control the cars as this game developed mainly for wheels system. Well if you are a keyboard gamer then you have to enable aid system in game to make things easier for keyboard control.







All the racing tracks from USA, Japan, Europe are real and in game it looks real too. As this is a track racing simulation game so it has no story unlike the previous versions. By the by i like the dual driver mode like the NFS Carbon. The career mode could be more improved. But the driving experience is really incredible. In online mode there are lacking of options but it is not that bad.

Overall Need For Speed Shift is a great racing simulation game. EA kept it's promise to release great racing games. And we look forward to see more great release of this series in future.
