LG Optimus 2X - the first smartphone on dual-core processor Tegra 2

In the official premiere of the smartphone LG Optimus 2X, LG Electronics has formally opened a new subcategory - smartphones on dual-core processors. Single-crystal system NVIDIA Tegra 2 has a configuration that includes dual-core Cortex-A9, operating at 1 GHz.

Smartphone has four-inch touch screen WVGA display and runs on Android 2.2. LG promises that the OS can be upgraded to 2.3.

Built-in memory is 8 GB. You can expand the memory with the microSD card. LG Optimus 2X is equipped with two cameras. The real panel camera is 8 MP and the front side 1.3 MP camera is located next to the screen. In addition, it has Micro USB connector and HDMI outputs, thanks to which you can see a high-definition video at resolutions up to 1080p on big screen. It eats all that stuff from the battery capacity of 1500 mAh.

Sales of LG Optimus 2X in South Korea will start in January, and later the smartphone will be released to Europe.
