Forum Rules and Guidelines

In this forum our goal is to maintain a pleasant and welcoming environment for everyone. In order to keep the BDPlay forum running well and to prevent problems, please follow these simple rules for the forums here.

General rules

1. Please maintain a pleasant reading environment at all times.
2. Do not use words that are generally avoided in front of children and parents out of respect.
3. Please be courteous and respectful to the opposing or differing opinion and never attack a poster. Articulate your own opinion with sound reasoning.
4. Refrain from rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Our decision is final in these matters.
5. Avoid posting about your personal hatred toward any country, nationality, race, ethnicity, religion and gender.
6. Avoid posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, or such.
7. Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.
8. Do not post anything like warez and illegal software or other similar items in this forum. This is strictly prohibited.
9. Forum nicks must not be offensive and must be less than 10 characters long.
10. Avoid all caps, all bold, excessively large fonts or excessive number of emoticons.
11. Avoid posting large pictures wider than 800 pixels. Put at least one "space" after 7 consecutive emoticons and specially after ":huh:". This helps preserve the forum look and feel.
12. Put long links inside text.
13. Use short and concise subject when possible and do not post replies in the subject line.
14. Avoid quoting large/long messages. Instead, consider quoting only the relevant portion needed to make your point.
15. Any advertisements or other unrelated Website Promotion will be moved to the appropriate forum or deleted.
16. No threads asking for roms or emulators, threads doing so will be closed, as Roms are illegal.
17. We do not allow people to post threads or to send private messages or emails to users here that advertise or solicit any products or services.
18. NO spam or flaming will be tolerated.
19. Do not post duplicate post, thread or links.
20. Do not post irrelevant thread, post or links in the forums.

What we may do

1. We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.
2. Violators may be warned privately or publicly.
3. We also reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules.
4. Administrators' and moderators' decisions are final.
5. Also while these rules cover most common situations, we cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
6. Admin reserve the right to change the forum rules and guidelines at any time without prior notice.

What you should do

1. Please report to the staff and moderators any incidences of abuse of forum rules.
2. Avoid replying to an offensive post, report it to the moderators instead.
3. If any broken game found report it in the appropriate section.
4. If you have a problem with another user please pm one of the moderators.
5. If you have any problems or concerns with moderation of a thread please contact the Forum Admin, your complaint will be looked at.
